The 2026 award at a glance
- Currently enrolled in, or accepted to, an accredited U.S. college or university
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)
- U.S. high school seniors and undergraduates (freshman through senior)
The scholarship funds will be sent directly to the financial aid or bursar's office of the winner's chosen accredited institution. The check will be co-payable to the student and the university. Funds are not paid as cash to the student.
The Jason Amada Second Chance Scholarship is 100% free to apply. We will never ask for credit card or financial information.
